And Australia, is how?

Kangourou

From the top of the Eiffel Tower, Australia's only dream of ... kangaroos, koalas, beautiful scenery, quality of life, beer, surf ... Yes it's true, the Land of Oz is a bit of everything !

In fact, Australians are "cool" as one might say ... Or maybe they just like to have time for other experiences. It starts in high school where classes end at 3 o'clock, leaving everyone the choice to engage in sports, volunteer, or to hold a small job in one of the many cafes in Melbourne where only the secret . Chai-latte, macchiato, hot chocolate, from 6 am until the evening, the Italians set the pace ... Maybe it's also friendly to the Australian! Whether in a pub, terrace, or food-court, which offers "all the cuisines of the world to bring in a single place," you simply say "Hi how There's going? "To your neighbor to start the discussion. But remain in touch to this great evening, although it is common to end up a "name is going and when you want" friendly, not friends. This is surprising at first, because we find ourselves invited everywhere ... But we never heard from again!

In fact with over 200 immigrant communities, the atmosphere is a delight! The whole world is in Melbourne, each retaining its traditions while integrating the country to sing above the hearts "We're Australian". Multiple origins, but the same will to live together! France would be it bad student? I would say we do not compare a welcoming whose origins date back to the European 200 years in a country where immigration is only recently in an ancient history.

So if the Australians we want the rich history of our old France, one can envy their diversity and openness. Here we drive on the left to please the Queen, but there are in kilometers. It has been copied and New York yellow cabs, but we write the date on the European. Moreover, even if you work in the American and the Friday Wear is required, our English is British, and write "center" instead of "center" is foolish! British tourists find their Ginger Biscuits, and will delight our Pavlova Lamington, and other Buns. The Vegemite? Not sure they taste ... When teatime is over, it is the bottle shop we stop before dinner. Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Riesling? Familiar names who come here in Tasmania, Western Australia or New Zealand soils fantastic.

This is exactly five months every day I discover new trais of Australian culture, for the moment confined to a purely urban environment. I discovered with surprise that the fitness club opened at 6am, and I met with disgust the snack bar in the lobby ... beers / fries / burgers after exercise ... US Tendency? Maybe ... But no one will tell you why the price of gas changes daily, and Thursdays are the cheapest days!

Cheers Mate!
