Great Ocean Road

Great Ocean Road Beginning of the journey with a local destination! Cliffs, small coves, national parks, deserted beaches and wild ... The flagship tourist Victoria deserves its name!

1 hour from Melbourne, Great Ocean Road stretches 250 kms south of Australia, and was built after the first World War by the soldiers returned from overseas. Buses ply the charter in a day, hordes of tourists arriving for the sun to the 12 Apostles (one is missing a few today ...): the place is nevertheless breathtaking, with those planted between rocks cliffs and the ocean, slowly sculpted by the wind ... Originally called "The Saw And The Piglets" (The Sow and Piglets), the state of Victoria and renamed in 1950 to adopt the style of "biblical".

Having a car is definitively the best way to travel the coast to enjoy dozens of points of view, geological, or other rainforest walks between the East and deserted beaches to the west. A few storms, three cloudy and a sea stirred: favorite playground for three photographers in need of images ...
