MOH 2009
Melbourne Open House 2009: it was this weekend in the State of Design Festival ! A new opportunity to explore the CBD which I have not done the trick. A sort of open house on thirty buildings, hotels or rooms normally closed to the public, and for the occasion lets photographers ...
So I joined a group of enthusiasts image via meetup (discovered last week - it's great!), all levels, all backgrounds, but with the same pleasure to capture the image that will fly ... or not! The program of the day we started by The Denmark House at Ikea style that gave me a good mind to go and jump in Scandinavia. The Donkey Wheel House is simply abandoned, then it is to the State Library and the University as we went, making a stop at the Rialto Intercontinental impressive. I ended my day with a visit to the Royal Exhibition Building (yes it is the dome above cons, not a psychedelic pattern ...) and the Design: Made: Trade Forum, where the lighting of Alex Earl , the photocurator and fashion stickypic particular property would have made me want to redo the decor!
So much for the weekend! And the week? It began with a sunny Monday, 18 °, perfect for taking the time to swot up the Information Technology Infrastructure Library on the terrace ... and yes tomorrow is the big day, or rather the first in Mercer , where I joined the team Windows infrastructure for a month of volunteering: it remains for me to convert the try!
